Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the GemWorld website and marketplace. By creating an account, browsing listings, placing an order, bidding in an auction, or listing products as a seller, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
The marketplace
GemWorld is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of diamonds, gemstones, jewelry, watches, and bullion. Unless we expressly say otherwise, products are listed and sold by independent sellers, not by GemWorld. We provide the platform, payments tooling, and related services; we are not a party to every contract between buyer and seller. Product descriptions, certificates, images, and prices are provided by sellers, and you should review them carefully before you buy or bid.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account, including keeping your password confidential. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is used for fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
Listings and product information
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of listings, including quality, origin, certification, inventory, and pricing. GemWorld may remove or hide listings that appear misleading, incomplete, or in violation of these Terms. Images and details on the site are for identification; natural variation can exist between a listing and the physical item.
Orders, payments, and refunds
When you place an order, you agree to pay the displayed price and any applicable charges. Payments are processed through our payment partner. An order is confirmed according to the status shown in Order History. Refunds, cancellations, and shipping follow the policies shown at checkout and any additional terms agreed with the seller. Wallet balances, if offered, may be used only as described in My Wallet.
Auctions
Auction listings are time-limited sales. Bids may be binding according to the rules shown on the auction. Winning bidders are expected to complete payment. We may cancel an auction or bid if we reasonably suspect error, collusion, or fraud.
Inquiries, chat, and feedback
Product inquiries, chat, Help center tickets, and feedback must be used in good faith. Do not send unlawful, abusive, or confidential third-party information. We may review and retain these messages to operate support and keep the marketplace safe.
What you may not do
You may not misuse the site, scrape or copy listings at scale without permission, interfere with other users, attempt unauthorized access, post false listings, or use GemWorld to sell prohibited or unlawfully sourced goods. We may take action, including removing content or closing accounts, if these rules are broken.
Intellectual property
The GemWorld name, design, and platform software are owned by us or our licensors. Sellers retain rights in their own listing content but grant us a license to display that content on the marketplace. You may not copy or reuse our branding or another user’s content except as allowed by law or with permission.
Limitation of liability
The marketplace is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GemWorld is not liable for seller product quality, delays by carriers, payment-processor outages, or indirect losses such as lost profits. Our total liability for a claim relating to the platform will not exceed the fees you paid to GemWorld for the relevant service in the three months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of GemWorld after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
